Mustang Monday: 1985 Mustang GT is more than just a car

The “Real Drivers” series from hittingredline.com takes a look at interesting cars and their equally interesting owners. These aren't always crazy exotics or 1,000-hp pavement-burners (though sometimes they are), but we found this particular episode about a 1985 Ford Mustang GT drag racer owned by a man named Michael Murphy a real heart-string tugger. Murphy bought the 'Stang for $1,500 with thoughts of having a cool street car.

The Skoda Yeti gets a facelift for 2014 – and a split personality The Skoda Yeti has been a big success for Skoda – and rightly so, it’s very able and decently priced – but it’s been around for a while and is ready for a facelift. Saab appoints North American administrator, prospects darken

Saab has appointed an outside administrator to oversee its business in North America and the potential wind-down or sale of the company if its parent operations can’t emerge from bankruptcy. The move was announced on Wednesday afternoon by Saab North American COO Tim Holbeck as the company’s future remains uncertain. McTevia & Associates, a management and financial-consulting service with offices in suburban Detroit and Florida, is the administrator.
